Hamlet MC’s & plays at The Song Room, one of the busiest weekly live music nights in Dublin, every Wednesday at 9pm. The Song Room takes place right in the front window of The Globe, a well known bar and a great, intimate room in the heart of Dublin city centre. Entry is always free and each week Hamlet presents 4 guest acts from musical friends, touring acts and local heroes.
The Song Room has been running since April 2008 and there have been some unforgettable nights spanning a hugely diverse range of musical genres. Although mostly revolving around acoustic song based music of all types, The Song Room has seen everything from full-on rock bands to to Russian Folk to African Drum music and hip hop MC’ing. It’s like a singer songwriter night on steroids!
